I love it! My bread machine makes baking homemade bread very easy. I just throw in the ingredients and let it be. I received the bread machine as a Christmas gift from my parents a couple of years ago. I was surprised at how many of the 100% whole wheat breads have the stuff too, like Emily pointed out. Learning where this stuff lurks is one step. Staying away from prepackaged foods, especially sweets, is another. Unless you can grow your own food or buy everything fresh and without added chemicals (love this idea but not the most feasible), you just do the best you can and try not to let it drive you crazy! :) Frustrating – yes, it can be, especially when trying to avoid sugars and other additives. I mean, what did we do before these things were invented?! It's amazing what you learn when you start reading ingredient lists.
